Highwayman, Dick Turpin, Famous English Highway Robber Costume
Dick Turpin is probably the most famous highwayman, romanticized to be one dashing and daring criminal. ‘Stand and deliver, your money or your life!’ Highwaymen were especially the dread of the English Countryside, particularly from 1650 to 1800. This is a great Costume for Scarborough Fair or the Texas Renaissance Festival.
